My mom and I had the opportunity to visit the Southern Christmas Show this weekend. We had a lot of fun, but boy was it CROWDED.
There was some neat stuff to see, but honestly, it wasn’t worth fighting the crowds for. I think if we decide to go back next year we’re going to go on a weekday, to try to avoid some of that.
I took my camera along (of course), and I snagged a few photos.
I love these lights at the entrance. They’re so pretty and it’s such a nice effect.
These snowflakes are projected onto the carpet near the main entrance. I love it!
Large ornaments hung from the ceiling.
One store was stocked exclusively with North Carolinian goods. I sampled a few things there – most were delicious!
They have contests for different types of decorations. Trees, mantles, front doors, wreaths and table settings were the ones I saw. Some were meh, but there were some really, really gorgeous ones!
This snowman tree was sponsored by Verizon, so it wasn’t in any contests, but it was cute!
This mantle was my favorite. That garland is amazing!
I took one more of the lights, as we were leaving. I couldn’t help myself.
I’m all ready for Christmas now! :D
